its all what you make it

My name is Khadia Massey, I am 23 yrs old, I was born and raised all over British Columbia, and also came to live in foreign lands such as Accra, Ghana, and Bordeaux, France, as a child. I am only just beginning my professional career as an artist.

I graduated High School in Courtenay, BC in 2005, and then continued my studies on to North Island College taking many courses in the fine arts department for the following 2 years. I then dropped out for two years and am currently going back to art school to finish my diploma by spring 2011.
 

I have been drawing and painting for longer than I can remember, and i believe i now have quite a distinct style, if not many styles! The only thing that doesn't change is the bright colors of my work. I like to play with my art trying new styles, textures and patterns all the time, and am very much inspired by Adinkra Symbolism from Ghana, Africa, and of course, many other random things. so take a look at my art, and maybe give me some tips on how to describe it :P
